Custom Welded H-Beams are fabricated structural members made by joining a web plate and two flange plates into an H-shaped section. Unlike standard rolled sections, welded H-beams can be produced with project-specific depth, flange width, plate thickness and length, allowing engineers to match the member to the required load, span and connection arrangement.
ZSJH Steel supplies straight, constant-depth welded H-beams for industrial buildings, workshops, warehouses, platforms, equipment supports and other steel structures. Beams can include end plates, splice plates, stiffeners, connection cleats, base details and CNC-cut holes. Production is controlled from drawing review and material traceability through assembly, welding, straightening, dimensional inspection, surface treatment and export packing.

Inspection | Material, dimensions, welds, surface and documentation |
• Project-specific section geometry reduces dependence on standard rolled sizes.
• High section efficiency for beams, columns and primary framing members.
• CNC cutting and controlled assembly support dimensional consistency.
• Continuous submerged arc welding is available for long flange-to-web seams.
• Connection parts can be shop-fitted to reduce site preparation.
• Piece marking and erection references simplify identification on site.
Industrial workshops and warehouses; multi-storey steel buildings; equipment support frames; pipe racks and platforms; conveyor structures; commercial and infrastructure steelwork.
We fabricate from customer-issued drawings or approved shop drawings. Custom options include section depth, flange width, web and flange thickness, camber, hole pattern, weld category, stiffener spacing, end connections, tolerance class, coating system and packing method. Technical review identifies manufacturability, welding access and transport limitations before production.
1. Review drawings, standards, tolerances and inspection requirements.
2. Verify materials and maintain heat-number traceability where required.
3. CNC cut web, flanges, stiffeners and connection plates.
4. Assemble the H-section with controlled alignment and tack welding.
5. Complete specified welds and manage distortion through sequence control.
6. Straighten, drill, fit attachments and perform dimensional inspection.
7. Conduct visual inspection and requested NDT, then blast and coat.
8. Mark, document and pack members according to the shipping plan.
Members are tagged by piece mark and bundled or supported to prevent deformation and coating damage. Loose plates and fasteners can be packed by assembly zone. Export documentation may include material certificates, inspection records, coating reports and packing lists as specified in the purchase order.
Can you fabricate non-standard H-beam sizes?
Yes. The section is built from plate, so depth, flange width and plate thickness can be tailored to approved drawings and production limits.
Can connection plates and holes be completed in the factory?
Yes. End plates, stiffeners, cleats and CNC holes can be fabricated as part of the finished member.
What information is needed for a quotation?
